Property Technician at Arvidsjaurhem

Arvidsjaurhem is the municipal housing company of Arvidsjaur. We currently manage approximately 1000 apartments and several commercial spaces. We have 16 employees in the company. Now you have the chance to take on a central role as a service-oriented property technician at Arvidsjaurhem. With us, you will combine operational and strategic responsibilities with development work to ensure the operation of our properties. In collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and tenants, you will drive improvements and contribute to Arvidsjaurhem's development.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary task as a property technician is to be responsible for the technical management of buildings and installations, both operationally and strategically.

This means that:

• Conduct inspections and rounds of all technical spaces, perform corrective maintenance and repair work.
• Carry out property technical installations in heating and ventilation systems.
• Identify the complexity and scope of tasks to determine whether the assignment should be performed internally or by an external contractor.
• Work with fire and burglary alarms in the properties.
• Participate in improvement projects as Arvidsjaurhem is in an expansive phase of energy optimization.
• Receive work orders and report completed actions in our property system Vitec TF.
• Approve your own invoices.

The role requires that you are confident in the ordering function towards contractors.

We expect you to have

A secondary education in HVAC, electrical, or property management, or experience that the employer deems equivalent. Post-secondary education in the field is an advantage.

If you have electrical competence, such as limited authorization, it is an advantage. Knowledge in control and regulation technology, energy and climate issues, as well as digital property systems is a plus.

Experience in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of heating and ventilation systems, heat pumps, and district heating facilities is an advantage.

The job requires good collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to meet tenants, colleagues, contractors, and suppliers in a professional manner.

You have the ability to see the whole picture in the property's technical operation and to prioritize correctly. The work is done in close collaboration with the property manager on technical issues. You work in a structured, responsible manner with a focus on long-term and stable operation.

In the role of property technician, you represent Arvidsjaurhem and are part of a repair group that reports directly to the property manager.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.
